Heidi Sarmiento is a mother of one daughter and three fur babies. She has been an avid writer since childhood and has a degree in the educational system. Born and raised in the prairies of Winnipeg, Manitoba she enjoys reading anything in history and archaeology, cooking, listening to music, singing, playing piano and painting. She has been previously published with the Poetry Institute in their poetry anthologies, Fire and Light and Island Treasures.
